Boka inneholder for øvrig tips om blåsing, spilleteknikk, gehør, improvisasjon og om å uttrykke seg musikalsk. Videre er to sider satt av til enkel arrangering, og målet er å inspirere til å prøve dette selv. Har tatt med forslag til daglige øvelser bak i boka. Samspill: De fleste melodiene i denne boka har besifring (transponert). I tillegg finnes det en separat pianobok. ”Spill piano” inneholder fullstendige pianoarrangementer beregnet på barn, lærere som ikke er pianister eller foreldre, og kan fint brukes som samspill på konserter. Enkelte sanger er også spilt nn på den vedlagte CD-en. Spilldel: Bak i boka er det en ”Spilldel” med noe mer utfordrende melodier. Her må læreren ”godkjenne” hvert nivå.
